Different rides and walks for all abilities and ages from 1 to 100 years
Helmets are required for all bike rides.
Riders signed up for the 28-mile Lake Monroe Loop should
arrive to Check In at 8:45.
Rides to Green Springs, Blue Springs, Lake Monroe Park and all the way around Lake Monroe with stops at Stops at Beck Ranch, Enterprise Museum, and DeBary Hall Historic Site.. Plus an exploratory walk to rediscover the trails around Gemini Springs Park. and all the surrounding trails!
28-Mile Lake Monroe Loop – this is a paced ride for experienced riders. Some sections are on road.
Riders must check in at 9:00 for 9:30 Departure
Group 1: 14-17 MPH
Group 2: 12-14 MPH
Slower than 12 MPH should use a different ride.
18-Mile Blue Spring Ride – ride to scenic Blue Spring State Park, maybe see the manatees if it’s cool. There is a steep RR crossing near Blue Spring State Park.
11-Mile Green Spring/DeBary Hall Ride – Ride to scenic Green Spring County Park, back through historic Enterprise (former County Seat) with a stop at DeBary Hall to explore and learn from Living History exhibits and reenactments.
5-Mile Casual Ride – Fun ride to DeBary Hall to explore and learn from Living History exhibits and reenactments followed by a stop at a playground. History will come to life at this family friendly event that will feature George Washington’s headquarter tent, a war re-enactment camp, historical presentations, Victorian games and crafts, and guided tours of the 150-year-old winter hunting estate with reenactors portraying various members of the deBary family.
Guided Walkabout to Explore Gemini Springs Park and learn its history
Wonderful BBQ buffet with pork, chicken, brats, and delicious sides.
Games for Kids. Fabulous prizes including a bicycle and great bike gear by Ryan at JCS Bikeshop, and wonderful gift certificates from Community-friendly Merchants.

The annual St Johns River2Sea Loop Spring to the Springs Family Fun Ride is BACK!
Bikes & BBQ! What could be better??
The “Spring to the Springs Family fun Ride” starts at Gemini Springs Volusia County Park in DeBary. The event offers trail rides to suit everyone: all ages and abilities.
- 5-Miles – casual kid-friendly ride to Lake Monroe Park
- 10-Mile ride to Green Springs County Park with a rest stop at Enterprise Museum
- 18- miles to Blue Springs State Park
- 28-Mile ride around the Lake Monroe Loop
Although the Lake Monroe Loop is incomplete along SR 415 Celery Road, we have a safer route that adds 2-miles to the future 26-mile Lake Monroe Loop. Rest stop at Beck Ranch Park
The event will start and end at Gemini Springs Volusia County Park with trail rides to fit everyone: a casual ride to Lake Monroe Park and longer rides to Green Springs County Park, Blue Springs State Park and a 29- mile ride on the Lake Monroe Loop.
All rides will terminate at Gemini Springs with a lavish BBQ picnic, prizes and activities.
St JOhns River2SeaLoop Events are free for registered friends only. Become a Friend today! Don’t worry – 2025 Trail Alliance Friends membership is the same as last year’s ride.
