The St Johns River-to-Sea Loop Alliance is a Florida 501(c)3 membership-based, volunteer-driven charitable nonprofit organization founded in 2016 with headquarters in Volusia County. The St Johns River-to-Sea Loop is an evolving 260-mile multiuse Florida SUNTrail from Titusville to DeBary to Palatka to St Augustine and back to Titusville. The Loop region includes connected multiuse trails in the counties of Volusia, Putnam, Flagler, Brevard, Seminole, and St. Johns Counties.

Connect to regional trail networks and safe routes to important destinations
Champion, encourage and increase safe, low-stress, accessible cycling and walking for all ages and abilities
Improve health, environment, and economic conditions in the Loop region and beyond.
Vision
We envision a Loop region where cycling and walking are easy, safe, accessible, and enjoyable for all ages and abilities in the Loop region. Our region will become a model for healthy active lifestyles and sustainable environment. We envision safe, convenient mobility options that enable everyone the freedom to get around smoothly and to experience the joy, prosperity, and good health offered by active transportation and recreation.

Raise awareness and support to influencedecisions through advocacy and promotion to extend and connect the Loop, the multiuse trail network, and safe cycling and walking routes
Educate and provide leadership about trails and safety to increase cycling and walking and improve safety for vulnerable road and trail users
Collaborate and build champions among decision makers including state and local elected officials and staff, FDOT, and MPO/TPOs
Stimulate and encourage trail use and active transportation and recreation for residents and visitors through programs, projects and events
Strengthen partnerships, Trail Alliance Friends, funding, and capacity to ensure our organization’s sustainability and extend our impact and sphere of influence
