Stakeholder Workshop Report Part 1

The St Johns River-to-Sea Loop Alliance hosted a successful and very full River to Sea Loop Stakeholder Workshop on Friday, March 1 at beautiful DeBary Hall. Special thanks to all who helped and participated and especially to Volusia County Parks, Recreation and Culture for providing the event venue.   It was very significant and productive to have the representatives from the Florida Department of Transportation Central Office in Tallahassee and District 5 and District 2,  from the DEP Office of Greenways and Trails, from four of the five Loop Counties, and countless other organizations all in the same room to discuss progress, potential and process for fulfilling  the promise of the Loop.  Representatives from the three designated Trail Towns on the Loop (Titusville, Deltona and Palatka), plus the connected Trail Town of Vilano Beach were present.

If anyone has photos especially of the afternoon sessions, please send or post. I ran out of steam by the afternoon taking photos. Special thanks to Danielle Anderson, Sarah Kraum, and Arnette Koshiol Sherman for providing extra photos.  Hover over the photos for captions.  Click the links below for presentations.
